Here in our F.A.Q. section we will answer the most commonly asked questions people have about feeder roaches.

Q: Do Dubia Roaches bite?
A: NO! Dubias do not bite.

Q: Can roaches climb?
A: YES and NO! While some species such as Hissers can climb slick surfaces such as glass, Dubias CANNOT climb up smooth surfaces ie. glass & plastic.

Q: Can roaches fly?
A: Just as the above question the answer is YES and NO. Most species sold in the trade either can glide short distances or do not fly at all. Our Dubias DO NOT fly.

Q: Do Dubia Roaches jump?
A: NO! They only crawl.

Q: Do Roaches smell?
A: No, roaches are nearly odorless.

Q: Do Roaches make noise?
A: No, most roaches do not make any noise. Though Hisses has their name suggest when startled will lightly hiss.

Q: Can Dubia Roaches infest your house?
A: NO! Dubias, if escaped from an enclosure, are not known to be able to survive anywhere in the continental United States, except for some parts of Florida. Dubias would be able to survive with the common humidity levels, food, or environment.
